Thus, we would like to ask this respected organization to distance itself from a joint investigation with the EHRC and continue to insist for a full, independent and international investigation of the crimes committed in Tigray.
We, thus, request the AU to distance itself from this sham investigation that looks to aim at sanitizing bloody hands. We also call up on the AU to play its proper role to ensure a full, independent and international investigation of the crimes committed in Tigray.
A dialogue process cannot be implemented without an active participation of the international community. The international community should also take note of the fact that the people of Tigray are left without a state and government that protect their interest.
